"My fans?
"It is fun to work with BB Gandanghari. Masaya ang mga eksena namin sa SRO Cinemaserye, where we portray super close friends. As Mama Frannie in the series, BB Gandanghari played her part with great sense of truth. I'm having fun working with her."
"I've got to say she is really beautiful, down to earth, professional and hardworking," papuri ni Joey sa kasamang aktres.
At nagtagpo nga ang dalawang dating alagad ng magkaibang sining—entablado (Ze Muzikal!) at pelikula (Ze Mooveeh!)—kaugnay ng Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah.
"She saw me play Didi in Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah (Ze Muzical) before," sabi ni Joey. "But it took sometime for her to recognize me na ako pala yung Didi na napanood niya before they made the film version of Zaturnnah."
Nagsimula ang airing ng SRO Cinemaserye Presents... Rowena Joy noong August 20.
"Our friends should watch it dahil dito nila mapapanood ang tatlong gay best friends in their realistic dramatic moments—Mama Frannie, played by BB; Jessie, played by me, and Rowena Joy, played by Iza Calzado.
QUESTION & ANSWER PORTION. Halimbawa't nasa isang gay beauty pageant si "Joanna P," a..k.a. Joey Paras, at ito ang maging question: "If you were to choose between being your true self, as a gay male, and marriage or lasting relationship with your boyfriend, provided you have to undergo transsexual operation, which one will you choose—and why? Or, are you for or against transsexual operation and why?"
"No! I love myself—my character, my shape, my personality, my sexuality, the way God created me. I believe that this is the persona God wanted me to be, in order for me to serve Him and His people...
"I don't need love from a man who cannot accept me as I am! I've been to some relationships with foreign guys; had Korean, Dutch, and French bfs, and they loved me [for] just the way I look and deal with them.
"Fame is not what I'm after... All I want is to be happy; to have peace and sense of fulfillment. And the only way for me to attain these is by simply learning to accept my original self, the way God molded me even before my birth. I can only be fulfilled under the law of God. Amen!"
"I don't need to shine just to be artistically fulfilled!" buwelta naman niya.
"I don't need fame in order for the man of my dreams to love me. I am just happy the way I am. Though, I don't have anything bad against transsexuals. Gay life is a matter of choice. I sometimes admire transsexual people for their courage. They know who they are and they will do everything just to fulfill their selves. Amazing!"
"Bravo!" we told Joey P. But somewhere along the way, we could almost hear the batingting—as in, ting! Times up na kasi!
