KC Concepcion hopes people will accept her as a teleserye actress

"That's definitely a challenge even as person. Not just professionally, but also personally. That's one triumph, I mean, personal success ko kung ma-accept ng tao na maybe I'm an actress now talaga, and I'm not just KC Concepcion whom you've known for the last six or eight years that I've been exposed through commercials, through theaters, through hosting... Now po, first time ko talaga sa teleserye and it's my wish na ma-accept po talaga that I'm now a teleserye actress,"

Lovers in Paris marks KC Concepcion's grand entrance to the world of teleseryes.

"We're all pressured... We've been working at it for at least six or seven months. So I guess, more than pressured, it's about time to let it out of the box," pahayag ni KC sa presscon ng Lovers in Paris kagabi, September 17, sa Dolphy Theater ng ABS-CBN.

KC AS PINAY VIVIAN.

"I've been dependent on our director, Direk FM Reyes, he really guides us all. Siya yung sigurong taong pinaka-inaral niya 'to. He invests time and he helps me how to do yung mga analysis. And I have so much respect on, I guess, creative side of things and at the same time, yung technical side of things. And just as Vivian character, given na siya, it's been done. E, yung hitsura ko po, ibang-iba na. Siguro, hitsura pa lang namin, ibang-iba na. So, that was really a challenge for me to give justice to the role.

Sinusubaybayan, araw-araw, gabi-gabi.

"So, that's definitely a challenge even as person. Now po, first time ko talaga sa teleserye and it's my wish na ma-accept po talaga that I'm now a teleserye actress."

WORKING WITH PIOLO PASCUAL. KC acknowledges that Piolo, with all his professionalism and experience in showbiz, was a good teacher.

"It's good that every day he's encouraging. He teaches me by example. I mean, maganda yung professionalism niya. Very supportive siya sa mga eksena. Hindi siya maramot. It's good, very comfortable," saad ni KC tungkol sa kanyang leading man.

Ano yung mga natutunan niya kay Piolo?

"Everything, from the most basic things like discipline sa time, discipline sa sarili mo. Kami, yung produkto namin is ourselves, so we really have to invest time sa well-being mo, sa sarili mo, sa outlook mo, yung ganoon. And to be able yung pakikitungo sa ibang tao po at yung mga technical na po, like sa trabaho na po namin.

"Every day naman, merong something na makukuha kay Piolo and it's good na matagal na rin siya rito sa business. Palagi akong nagtatanong sa kanya and he always answers things na parang isang teacher ko siya, yung ganoon. Parang ano, parang guro. Marami siyang alam from his experience," lahad ni KC.

And it's really a big, big blessing for me na sa kanya pa 'ko nai-pair this time. And I'm really, really happy."
