Paul Soriano counts "four or five years" before wedding date with Toni Gonzaga

"She's a very loving and giving person. She makes me feel so important. Three years na halos kaming magkakilala. We first met during a Gary Valenciano concert. I directed that show. I saw Toni watching. When I met her, I started courting her na. So, getting to know each other na ang kasunod.

"I have just put the three or four years I have learned in TV directing," bungad ni Paul sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). "I just took the risk after reading the script. Well, that's how I see it, and how I am going to put my imagination on the screen."

FOUR TO FIVE YEARS MORE...

"Working with her is really great," sabi ni Paul. "After years of being together and being boyfriend-girlfriend, it's more like working with a friend.

One thing good about Toni, the moment I took her for the project, I know very well that I already have a good lead actress in the cast.

Ayon sa kanya, kung may balak man silang magpakasal, four to five years pa raw ang bibilangin nila.

"It might be held in their church in Taytay," banggit ni Paul. "Every other Sunday rin kasi, I go there. I live in Alabang.

"Two years and a half na rin ang relationship namin. Kung iisipin mo, it will be soon. Madali na lang ang four or five years na paghihintay. I am working hard now to save!" natatawang dugtong niya.

THE ENGAGEMENT RING. Lagi raw siyang pinapayuhan na mag-save for the engagement ring na ibibigay niya kay Toni.

"When I have bought na raw the engagement ring, that's the time I really have to save for the wedding. Kung nandiyan na ang wedding, gotta save naman for the future. Magpa-fundraising na lang siguro ako. I know how it works na!" natatawang biro niya.

Hindi pa raw siya nakakapag-shop around for that engagement ring na gusto niyang ibigay ka Toni.

"Wala namang hand-me-down jewelry from my mom. Basta, lagi lang niyang sinasabi, I have to take good care of Toni. Makakagawa raw ako ng paraan for that, I just have to look after the welfare of Toni," sabi niya.

I LOVE HER BECAUSE...

"She's a very loving and giving person. She makes me feel so important. Three years na halos kaming magkakilala. We first met during a Gary Valenciano concert. I directed that show. I saw Toni watching. When I met her, I started courting her na. So, getting to know each other na ang kasunod.

"What I only knew about Toni before was Wazzup Wazzup. I like the trio of Toni, Archie Alemania, and Vhong Navarro. I just got to know her like that.
