These are ABS-CBN's music video of "Boto Mo, Ipatrol Mo: Ako ang Simula" and the news promotion of "Pagpag" (Leftovers). Pagpag is Dominic Almelor's episodes for the Kapamilya Network's documentary show The Correspondents.

Prominent international media professionals comprise the Grandjury, which selected the finalists from 35 countries around the globe. All entries are screened by NYF's international judging panels dedicated to rewarding the "World's Best Work."

All finalists receive a Finalist Certificate. Further judging rounds determine Bronze, Silver and Gold medal winners. Gold award winners then contend for Grand Prix Awards.

The NYF aims to recognize "The World's Best Work" in news, documentary, information and entertainment programming as well as in music videos, infomercials, promotion spots, openings and IDs.
