Chris Cayzer is happy doing front act for Charice

Chris Cayzer is doing front act performances for the three-day series of shows ng international singing sensation na si Charice. The last day of the show will be later tonight at the Eastwood Mall Open Park in Quezon City.

Masaya si Chris Cayzer na maging front act sa series of shows ng international singing sensation na si Charice nitong mga nagdaang araw. Nagsimula ang series of shows ni Charice last Thursday, July 15, sa Newport Plaza Resorts World Manila.

"It's really an honor coz I've seen her with my other record label before. She was just so small and she's now all grown up and I get to front act for her. It's also great to be playing for a crowd like this," sabi ni Chris sa panayam sa kanya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Porta) kagabi, July 16, pagkatapos ng show sa McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio.

Magkasama dati sa Star Records si Chris at Charice, at ngayon naman ay pareho silang nasa Warner Music.

"I'm proud to be Pinoy," sambit ni Chris. "This is why I'm here at this event. We're all so proud that Charice is a Pinoy artist who has made it in the international scene. I was sharing some stories with her kanina. Ang bait niya pa rin."

Chris did three cover songs last night and performed live with his guitar. Ang mga kinanta niyang songs ay "Hey, Soul Sister" ng Train, "Billionaire" by Travis McCoy, at "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" ng The Script.

Naghahanda na rin si Chris para sa kanyang next album. This October ang target date niya sa release ng album.

"We recorded already our first single, 'Kung Pwede Lang.' And we're actually coming up with a different approach to the album. Kasi alam naman ng mga tao na Inglesero ako. Pero yung album is Tagalog. Most of it will be in Tagalog. Sana magulat naman yung mga tao na nagta-Tagalog na ako. It's good na gagamitin mo yung sariling wika!" natatawang sabi ng Fil-Am singer.

Dagdag niya, "I'm composing songs. And I'm also getting people to write songs for me as well. There's also an archive of Warner Music songs around the world that we're also looking at. There are some songs that will be submitted from the States, China. They're just picking the ones that are just bagay. Kunwari, if the songs are in English, they can turn it into Tagalog. They really want to market me as a musician."
