Zoren Legaspi wants BB Gandanghari to guest in his morning show with Carmina Villarroel

"Although natuloy 'yong gusto naming mangyari, pero behind that mabigat 'yong obligasyon. Alam naman natin na this is a rating business so we're gonna try our best to make the show very fun to watch. Kaya bawat episode, talagang nag-i-input kami ng aming ideas," says Zoren Legaspi about his upcoming morning talk show with longtime partner Carmina Villarroel titled Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis.

Zoren Legaspi pulled off a mock marriage proposal to longtime partner Carmina Villarroel at the press conference of the couple's upcoming morning show with GMA-7 titled Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis.

The event was held yesterday, July 27, at the Studio 5 of GMA Network Center in Quezon City.

Although the proposal was done all in the spirit of fun, people present inside the venue got excited, including network executive Ms. Wilma Galvante.

"Sa first anniversary ng show ipapakasal namin kayo!" the senior vice president for entertainment declared as a dare.

Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis will debut on August 9 in the morning timeslot from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

CARMINA'S PAST. Zoren admitted that the idea of marriage often comes up between him and Carmina during casual conversations.

"'Yong mga dates napag-uusapan na... We're very fine and we're very happy. Kasi minsan talaga, okay ka na 'yong schedule and then biglang may papasok na naman na project," divulged Zoren.

The couple's relationship has been blessed with two wonderful kids (Mavey and Casey) and many, of course, are hoping to finally see Zoren and Carmina formalize their union through a wedding ceremony.

Zoren has frequently mentioned even in past interviews that he wants to spend his entire life with Carmina, and that he feels very lucky to have the actress-TV host beside him.

So what's holding back Zoren from actually proposing to the mother of his twins?

Interestingly, Carmina's failed relationship with ex-husband Rustom Padilla played a big role on why Zoren would rather take his sweet time before popping the question.

He explained, "Kasi alam naman natin na maaga siyang natali and it didn't work out. Ayoko naman siyang itali din kaagad sa akin dahil I want her to have her freedom. Sabi ko, pabayaan ko muna siya para pakiramdam niya ay dalaga pa rin siya. Then nung nagkaanak na, dapat tuluy-tuloy na 'yong kasal, kaso ang problema naging busy na masyado."

FACING BB GANDANGHARI. Zoren was noticeably comfortable talking about Rustom Padilla—who is now known to the public as BB Gandanghari—throughout the presscon.

It was revealed that the couple have been trying to track down BB for several days. They want to personally invite BB to guest on the show just as Zoren's ex-flame Ruffa Gutierrez did in one of the taped episodes.

Carmina's past relationship with BB has no bearing on the present since all of them have already moved on, according to Zoren.

"It's a small world lalo na sa showbiz industry," said Zoren. "Kailangan tanggapin mo na lang 'yong mga bagay-bagay. Sabi ko kay Carmina, it's time to face the music and at least nakakatuwa dahil makikita ng buong Pilipinas kung paano kayo mag-usap for the first time na ganun na siya."

The three of them together inside a studio and in front of the camera may not sit well with some people, but Zoren said he has no problem with critics and the potential negative reaction after the rare get-together.

"Kasi ang comment at opinyon naman laging nandiyan 'yan, e. Ang importante nakakatuwang panoorin pag nangyari 'yong ganun na makikita kaming tatlo ng mga tao na nag-uusap in front of the camera," he said.
