Dina Bonnevie keeps mum about wedding of son Oyo Sotto with Kristine Hermosa

"I don't want to touch on that topic at all. I don't want to talk about it. Let's not talk about Oyo and Kristine. I don't want to go there. Let's not talk about them," Dina Bonnevie's replied when asked about her son Oyo Sotto and Kristine Hermosa's wedding.

Actress Dina Bonnevie opted not to comment on son Oyo Sotto and Kristine Hermosa's wedding next year when PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) talked to her on the set of TV5's MyDSL: My Driver Sweet Lover at the Sanctuary Center in Mandaluyong City last September 3.

"I don't want to touch on that topic at all. I don't want to talk about it. Let's not talk about Oyo and Kristine. I don't want to go there. Let's not talk about them," Dina said.

VILLAIN ROLE. But the 49-year-old actress brightened up when asked about playing villain roles and about her relationship with her children.

Dina plays the tough role of Araceli, a villain in My Driver, Sweet Lover.

"Hay naku, it is so hard!" she exclaimed.

Dina shared anecdotes of how people would sometimes be confused with her villain roles onscreen and would often come up to her and reprimand her for her actions on the scenes.

"Parang one time, tinutukan ako ng baril sa may Cagayan de Oro, because... Parang sabi niya, 'Ikaw si Malena [her character's name in May Bukas Pa], 'no?' Sabi ko, 'Oo, pero sa role lang.' Tapos minura ako! Sabi niya, 'Ang sama ng ugali mo, inaapi mo yung bata [Zaijian Jaranilla playing the role of Santino]!' Sabi ko, 'My God, papatayin na ako!'

"Sometimes I'm afraid din pag sobrang bad yung character. Kasi some people really take it seriously.

"Another time, I was parking at The Fort [in Taguig], na palagi naman ako nag-o-office dun for how many years. Hello! 'Antagal ko nang opisina ang Fort Bonifacio, siguro four years na. Biglang all of a sudden, sabi sa akin nung babae sa parking, wala nang parking, tapos sinara yung bintana.

FHM. Asked if she would still consider posing for FHM, Dina gave out a hearty laugh and said, "Ako? Baka naman masuka na sila! Hindi naman... I don't think it will ever gonna happen."

Dina was on the cover of FHM December 2001. She was 39 then and a mother of two teenagers. The response for that particular FHM issue was tremendous.

"Baka awayin na ako ni Oyo at saka ni Danica," Ms. D, as she is fondly called, said.

Acting like Danica, she said, "'Mommy naman, you are a grandmother already.'

"Kasi niloko ko siya one time, 'O, may bago akong FHM.'

"'Mommy! Ang kapal mo ha, lola ka na!'

"'Bakit? I was the first to pose with two kids, the only one with two kids to pose. So I'll be the only granny to pose!'

"Sabi ni Danica, 'Mommy, ang kapal mo talaga! Gusto mo ng kape?'" the actress related, laughing.

DANICA AND OYO. Ms. D likens her relationship with daughter Danica to that of girl friends.

"Nakakatawa kami. Like when we fight, talagang we fight. Pero pag bati naman kami, super barkada," Dina elaborated.

There are only three things she and Danica do for bonding: "We cook together, we go shopping together, or kung hindi naman, 'yan, see movies together."

She paused, then added, "Or kaya, yung pinaka-last, yung prayer. Minsan 'yan, kunwari, tatawag siya, 'Mommy, pray mo naman ganito, ganyan.'

"Ako naman, parang, 'Danica, can you pray with me?' Magpi-pray kami on the phone.

"Minsan, when I call her, 'O, why Ma, malungkot ka?' Biglang I cry to her if I have a problem. Tapos siya naman, kunwari medyo problematic din siya about something, pero siyempre not anything about her and Marc [Pingris, Danica's husband]. Kasi parang I think she learned na pag mag-asawa, you just keep problems to yourself."

What are the usual problems Danica shares with her?

"Madalas yung mga away nila ni Oyo," Dina said.

Asked what their sibling rivalries are all about, she gushed and said, "Minsan pikunan dahil sa mga partner!"

"Pero now, I think I'm closer to Danica kasi we are always together, we are always on the phone. Pag may nangyaring kilig factor, tawag ako, 'Danica guess what? Oh, my gosh!' Tapos magkukuwento ako ng ganoon. Tapos sabi niya, 'OMG, Mom, grabe ka talaga! Certified cougar ka na talaga!'

"Wala lang. Tapos magkukuwento lang ako sa kanya. Tapos minsan naman, 'O, ano ginagawa mo?'

"'Wala nasa bahay lang ako.'

"'Talagang nagpapakalolay ka na, hindi ka na lumalabas, you don't hang out. What's the matter, you're depressed ba? Tara labas tayo, ganyan.'"
