Wild beasts and even wilder boys combined for a scorching-hot evening at the World Trade Center last night, September 9.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Cosmo Bachelor Bash, Cosmopolitan magazine offered fun, fearless females the chance to ogle hot hunks who bared their sexy-beast abs.
The party dubbed as Wild DoMENation not only featured this year's batch of savage studs but also tapped favorite hunks from the past decade.
Leading the pack in this year's celebrity centerfolds is heartthrob Sam Milby, whose well-defined torso was made even more prominent by his tanned look.
He initially wore a black vest on the ramp, but he tossed it to the crowd before he walked down the ramp, eliciting cheers from the jampacked audience. The iDOL star graced the cover of the Cosmo Men supplement that's part of the September issue of Cosmopolitan.
Other celebrity centerfolds that night had their own arsenal in the game of teasing the crowd.
Joross Gamboa showed off muscles that were the result of good, old hard work. Marco Mañalac initially wore his pants on the ramp, but when he reached the end, he ripped the pants off to reveal black briefs underneath!
Bryann Foronda, the winner of the Cosmo Steamy Stud contest, bowed to the audience. Brazilian-Japanese actor Fabio Ide knelt on the ramp and poured water on his body.
Rocco Nacino did a breakdancing routine on the ramp, and upon reaching the ramp's end, submitted himself to water that poured from the ceiling of the World Trade Center. The StarStruck V alumnus was totally drenched.
Matteo Guidicelli waved to Maja Salvador who was seated near the ramp, before proceeding to be drenched by water, again, coming from the ceiling. Carl Guevara lowered his pants to partly reveal his butt.
Christian Bautista emerged from backstage wearing shades but threw this towards the photographers and cameramen standing by the right side of the stage.
For the opening number, a muscular guy inside a primitive-looking cage attempted to break free from its confines. When he finally broke free, it was revealed to be 2009 celebrity centerfold Aljur Abrenica!
The crowd went wild.
In line with the wild theme of the night, one model walked on the catwalk with an eagle perched on his arm. The huge bird attempted to fly but was kept in place by a rope tied to the model's arm.
One of the highlights of the event was the sudden "flight" of Rafael Rosell. The actor went to the middle of the ramp where a production staff attached a cable to his back. Rafael was then hoisted in the air, allowing the ABS-CBN star to float above the awestruck crowd.
Previous celebrity centerfolds such as Jay-R, Luis Alandy, and Daniel Matsunaga walked the catwalk once again to show their buff bodies.
Hermes Bautista, Johan Santos and Paul Jake Castillo—the former housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up—wore elaborate pieces that resembled wings. Reality-show contestants Jommy Teotico, Jose Sarasola and Manuel Chua of Pinoy Fear Factor also made an appearance.
StarStruck boys Steven Silva, Prince Stefan, Ian Batherson, and Dion Ignacio showed that they, too, have what it takes to bare in front of screaming ladies.
Other celebrity hunks who participated, to the delight of the ladies, were Baron Geisler, Carlo Aquino, Guji Lorenzana, and Rodjun Cruz.
Singers showed another side of themselves when they agreed to pose shirtless during the highly anticipated event. Ronnie Liang, Kean Cipriano of Callalily, and Tutti of 6Cyclemind elicited cheers even without breaking into song.
The show was hosted by TV personality and model Joey Mead, who also facilitated the sexy games before the actual program.
This year's Cosmo Bachelor Bash was directed by Rico Gutierrez, the same director of GMA-7's noontime variety show Party Pilipinas.
The hot hunks were styled by Project Runway Philippines runner-up Santi Obcena.
Cristine Reyes, Megan Young, Maja Salvador, Alessandra de Rossi, Saab Magalona, and director Joyce Bernal were some of the personalities who watched the Cosmo Bachelor Bash, along with many other fun, fearless females who certainly got their fill of eye candy.
