Kris Lawrence says his award-winning song, "Moments of Love," was inspired by ex-girlfriend Katrina Halili

A few months after Kris Lawrence and Katrina Halili (not in photo) supposedly called it quits in March 2009, sources claimed the two continued to see each other.

Aniya, "It was the best feeling. It's really fulfilling because [what] I won for Best RNB is the song that I composed, wrote, performed, produced, and engineered... so, parang lahat ginawa ko. So, it felt really, really good."

"At that time, yes," ang nakangiting pag-amin niya.

"Like we both said, we decided on concentrating on our work. I mean... she's also concentrating on the case, so, you know, doon muna siya mag-focus [at] sa trabaho niya. So, ako rin."

Paano sila naghiwalay?

"It was painful, siyempre," pero nakangiti na niyang pagkukuwento. "You know, when you love somebody, it's hard to let go. But... you have to know what's good."

May chance pa kaya na magkabalikan sila?

"To tell you the truth, hindi ko pa po alam. I just go with the flow. As long as okay kami as friends, yun ang importante," ang sabi ng singer na naging Star in A Million winner noong 2006.

Dagdag pa ng binata, "Yes, we're able to maintain the friendship. Things are still good between us. We're civil, we say hi..."

IMPROVING HIS CRAFT.

Banggit ng Party Pilipinas regular, "Pagdating sa songwriting, a lot of good songs comes from your own experiences."

"It's called Three Stars. It's me, Billy Crawford and Jay-R," ang masaya niyang balita. "The good thing is, nagtayo kami ng recording label and we're doing a lot of original songs na RNB. We're producing [for] Elmo Magalona right now. Kyla finished one song of mine. So, tuloy-tuloy na 'yun."

Ang goal daw nila: "Hopefully, we can [re-start] this movement na original Pinoy music."

Natatawa niyang sabi, "Actually, lately po, I've been going to the gym. I really take my work seriously, kasi, I don't know how long I'm gonna last [in showbiz]. I want to make some changes."

Although iba na kami, it doesn't mean I'll stop supporting her. You know, if I see people watching the video, I'll really tell them to stop."
