Luis Manzano has noted that there may be “loopholes” on the issue alleging Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo have broken COMELEC rule on ballot secrecy.

In his series of Twitter posts today, May 9, Luis weighs in on the reaction of netizens to the Kapamilya stars' controversial photos taken by ABS-CBN media reporters.

Luis also avers that one of the Commission on Election (COMELEC) officials has claimed no harm done as Kathryn's ballot was not shaded yet and Daniel's was partly covered with his folder.

At the same time, Luis acknowledges Comelec's public service announcement that photos with election ballots are not allowed.

He also notes that Kathryn and Daniel's photo-ops with their ballots were not selfies but photos taken by media reporters.

Whatever the circumstances that led to the photo-ops, Luis maintains that the final decision is up to the Comelec officials.

WEARING OF CAMPAIGN SHIRTS/BALLERS. As for celebrities who wore campaign shirts and ballers, like Mariel Rodriguez and Kathryn, Luis cites a Comelec official's statement that wearing such campaign materials are allowed as long as they're not being distributed to sway other voters.

The Kapamilya TV host also reminds fellow netizens to refrain from casting judgment and posting opinion on social media without thinking things through first.
