Just last weekend, Sarah Geronimo reconciled with Cristine Reyes while they were backstage of the musical-variety show ASAP Rocks. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)
At the red-carpet screening of Sarah's movie with Gerald Anderson, Catch Me... I'm in Love, last night, March 22, at the SM Megamall, the Popstar Princess initially declined to comment when asked about this, saying: "Wag na po nating pag-usapan. Okay na po yun."
However, she later added, "Masayang-masayang-masaya ako at pinagdadasal ko na magtuloy-tuloy na ito, at ayoko nang magsalita para wala nang gulo."
Ara Mina, Cristine's sister, has suggested that Sarah meet with Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz one of these days. If Sarah receives an invitation from Ara, would she be willing to meet with them?
"Opo, opo, sa tamang panahon po," said the Popstar Princess.
RED-CARPET PREMIERE. On the other hand, Sarah and Gerald were very happy by the turnout and reaction of fans who watched the red-carpet screening of Catch Me... I'm in Love.
"Sobrang nakakataba talaga ng puso, lahat ng pawis at dugo namin, talagang binuhos namin, it was all worth it," said Gerald.
The Popstar Princess described her leading man: "Si Gerald very professional and napaka-caring na tao. Gentleman."
For his part, Gerald said of his leading lady: "Totoong tao siya at very down-to-earth. Masarap rin siya kasama."
HANDS-ON MOM. Sarah revealed that her Mommy Divine was very hands-on when they were shooting Catch Me... I'm in Love, which involved a lot of hugs and hand holding between the two lead stars.
"Alam mo, andun naman si Mommy at saka supportive naman siya at alam naman niya na hindi kami papabayaan ni Direk Mae [Cruz]. At si Gerald napaka-gentleman. Okay ang lahat, smooth ang takbo ng shooting," said Sarah.
Gerald added, "Actually, napaka-supportive nga niya [Mommy Divine]. Sa lahat ng taping days, nandun siya, inaalagaan niya si Sarah. Tsine-check talaga niya bawat shot and she's very supportive kay Sarah, pati daddy niya."
One of the much-talked about scenes is when she and Gerald play in the mud. Sarah exclaimed, "Enjoy ang eksenang yun!"
Gerald agreed, "Enjoy na enjoy kami dun, kahit buong araw kami babad dun sa putikan."
Did the singer-actress feel awkward shooting the last scene when her leading man leaned close to her?
"Nung umpisa po, may awkward feeling pero, you know, we're actors, kailangan ma-overcome ang hiya at pagiging awkward. Sana naman nagawa namin nang maayos," she said.
If she is offered a movie that required a kissing scene would she be willing to do it?
"Sa ngayon, hindi ko pa masasagot 'yan. Ikokonsulta ko rin sa magulang ko tungkol dun... sa tamang panahon po siguro."
Does she want to have a "surprise" kissing scene like the one she had with John Lloyd Cruz in You Changed My Life?
Sarah quipped, "Naku 'wag, mabibigla rin sila kay Mommy!"
Produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films, Catch Me... I'm in Love is graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board. It is now being screened in cinemas nationwide.
