Last Saturday, May 14, the finale of the ABS-CBN variety program Showtime managed to bump off frontrunner Eat Bulaga! of GMA-7 from the top spot in the daytime race.
Showtime posted a rating of 21.3 percent against Eat Bulaga’s 17 percent.
However, the longest-running noontime show in the country maintained its position as the No. 1 weekday daytime program Friday (May 13) and Monday (May 16).
Meanwhile, the weekday primetime race was ruled by Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, followed by fellow Kapamilya shows Mara Clara, 100 Days To Heaven, TV Patrol, and Green Rose.
Weekend primetime was topped by Maalaala Mo Kaya last Saturday and Pilipinas Got Talent last Sunday.
