Kantar Media-TNS National Household Ratings (May 27-30): Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin prevails over Amaya; Biggest Loser debuts at No. 4

ABS-CBN’s primetime programs continue their domination despite the emergence of new competition from rival network GMA-7.

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, which stars Coco Martin in a dual role, prevailed over GMA-7’s new epicserye Amaya, which debuted last night, May 30.

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin posted a rating of 33.6 percent to tie with 100 Days To Heaven in second place, behind toprater Mara Clara.

Amaya, which stars Marian Rivera in the title role, debuted with 19.1 percent to lead all Kapuso programs at No. 6.

The Kapamilya network also debuted a new primetime show last night—the reality show The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition hosted by Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

It generated 20.5 percent on its pilot episode to take the fourth spot in the primetime race.

GMA-7 also had two new shows on daytime—the afternoon soap Sisid and the Koreanovela Playful Kiss, which ranked No. 5 and No. 8, respectively.

ABS-CBN’s Green Rose and GMA-7’s I Heart You Pare, Temptation of Wife, and My Lover My Wife aired their last episodes last Friday, May 27.
