AGB Nielsen Mega Manila People Ratings (June 3-6): Mara Clara ends on top; Amaya prevails over Guns and Roses

ABS-CBN primetime drama Mara Clara aired its last episode last Friday, June 3, on a high note topping both the Household and People ratings of AGB Nielsen Phils. among Mega Manila households.

In the Household ratings, the Kathryn Bernardo-Julia Montes starrer generated an incredible 32 percent; while it posted 18 percent in the People ratings.

Another ABS-CBN drama, 100 Days to Heaven, ranked second in both the Household and People ratings.

GMA-7’s epicserye Amaya and ABS-CBN drama Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin took the third and fourth slots.

Kapuso family drama Munting Heredera ranked fifth in both surveys.

The other slots were occupied by GMA-7’s Secret Garden, Captain Barbell, and 24 Oras, and ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol and The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition.

In the daytime race, GMA-7 noontime show Eat Bulaga! topped both the Household and People ratings with 23.9 percent and 10.3 percent, respectively.

Kapuso soap Nita Negrita took the second spot in both surveys.

In the Household ratings, the second game of the 2011 NBA Finals, which was aired on ABS-CBN, placed third.

It was followed by GMA-7’s Blusang Itim, Ghost Fighter, Playful Kiss, Slam Dunk, Sisid, and Flame of Recca; and ABS-CBN’s My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho.

JUNE 6. Guns And Roses, the new ABS-CBN action-drama series starring Robin Padilla and Bea Alonzo, had its premiere last night, June 6.

The pilot episode of Guns and Roses got 23.6 percent in the Household ratings and 12.1 percent in the People ratings to rank fourth in the primetime race.

In the Household ratings, 100 Days to Heaven took the top spot with 26 percent; followed by Amaya with 24.8 percent and Munting Herdera with 24.4 percent.

But in the People ratings, it was Munting Herdera which topped the race with 13.7 percent; followed by Amaya with 13.5 percent and 100 Days to Heaven with 12.6 percent.

Guns and Roses was pitted against Amaya.

Eat Bulaga!, on the other hand, once again topped the daytime race; closely followed by Kapuso soaps Nita Negrita, Blusang Itim, Sisid, and Playful Kiss, and the Game 3 of the 2011 NBA Finals.

JUNE 5. Vice Ganda’s comedy talk show Gandang Gabi Vice continued its strong showing by topping both the Household and People primetime race last Sunday, June 5.

Gandang Gabi Vice posted a rating of 22.5 percent in the Household ratings, and 10.2 percent in the People ratings to tie with Amazing Love Story (the Bong Revilla-Lani Mercado silver wedding anniversary special) in first place.

In the Household ratings, ABS-CBN’s talent show Pilipinas Got Talent (20.5 percent) took the second spot; followed by Amazing Love Story (19 percent), Pepito Manaloto (17.7 percent), and Rated K (15.4 percent).

The other spots were occupied by Show Me Da Manny, 24 Oras Weekend, Goin’ Bulilit, Sunday Night Box Office featuring the movie Ekis, and TV Patrol Weekend.

In the People ratings, Pilipinas Got Talent (9.9 percent) landed on second spot; followed by Pepito Manaloto (8.2 percent), Rated K (7.1 percent), and Show Me Da Manny (6.5 percent).

Also in the Top 10 are ABS-CBN’s Goin’ Bulilit, TV5’s Talentadong Pinoy and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and GMA-7’s 24 Oras Weekend and SNBO.

In the daytime race, the Thai movie Crazy Little Thing Called Love dubbed in Filipino, and was aired on ABS-CBN, was the highest-rated program in both the Household and People ratings.

The movie, which stars Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer, generated a rating of 17.6 percent in the Household ratings and 7.6 percent in the People ratings.

Amaya Balik-Tanaw, the recap of the first week of GMA-7’s epicserye starring Marian Rivera, took second place in the Household ratings (13.6 percent) and third in the People ratings (5.8 percent).

GMA-7 musical-variety show Party Pilipinas ranked third in the Household ratings and fourth in the People ratings; while ABS-CBN’s ASAP Rocks took fourth place in the Household ratings and second in the People ratings.

Tween Hearts (GMA-7), Matanglawin (ABS-CBN), and Showbiz Central (GMA-7) took the fifth to seventh slots, respectively.

JUNE 4. GMA-7s magazine show Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho topped both the Household and People primetime race last Saturday, June 4.

The show hosted by Jessica Soho got 22.6 percent in the Household ratings and 11.7 percent in the People ratings.

In second place was the ABS-CBN drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya, which posted 21.5 percent in the Household ratings and 10.8 percent in the People ratings.

GMA-7’s Imbestigador took third place, although it tied with ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent in the People ratings.

The Saturday edition of Eat Bulaga! topped the daytime race with 24.7 percent in the Household ratings and 10.4 percent in the People ratings.

Wish Ko Lang! and Showtime took the second and third spots, respectively.
