Vina Morales’s birthday wish: "Sige na nga, lovelife na nga!"

Vina Morales says having a new relationship is not her priority right now. The singer-actress reasoned out, "Ayaw ko namang masyado i-ano ’yon kasi for now, ang priority ko is my daughter at ’yong trabaho. ’Di ba, kapag maraming trabaho, wala kang masyadong time sa lovelife?"

Vina Morales happily celebrated her 36th birthday and 25th anniversary in show business through a concert called "Silver Party with Vina Morales" last night, October 17, at the Republiq Bar, Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

The singer-actress did lively performances that got her audience—mostly composed of her family, friends, and colleagues—dancing in their seats.

In an interview after the event, Vina said she’s hoping to stage another event like last night’s because she missed doing concerts.

"Actually, I still don’t know kung ano pa ’yong mga next plans," answered Vina when asked for her next plans.

"But definitely more projects. I’m praying for that.

"I feel so blessed na madaming magagandang opportunities na binibigay sa akin, hindi lang sa singing kundi pati sa acting. I feel really blessed."

Like other birthday celebrators, Vina was also asked what she wished for her birthday.

But she said she still hasn’t thought of anything for herself because everything was for her daughter Ceana.

She further said, "Kung bagay, mas gusto kong mag-save.

"Kasi, kapag may anak na, most of my plans are for my daughter.

"Wala pa akong gift sa sarili ko.

"Ngayon nga e, hindi ko maisip ang sarili ko, puro sa anak ko, e."

READY FOR A NEW LOVELIFE? However, when Vina was asked again about her birthday wish, she gave in and said, "Sige na nga, lovelife na nga!"

Right now, according to Vina, she’s not dating anyone, but admits there are men who are trying to woo her.

"Hindi naman maiiwasan, meron naman... pero nothing serious," she related.

Then, Vina explained why she’s not really thinking of looking for a new partner.

"I’m just inspired because of my daughter.

"Siguro ngayon, I can say na nasa point ako na kapag mayroong right person, pwede, I mean why not. Let’s see.

"For now, ang priority ko is my daughter at yung trabaho.

"’Di ba, kapag maraming trabaho, wala kang masyadong time sa lovelife?

"Siyempre, kung anumang oras ang meron ako, para na sa anak ko."

Vina wasn’t able to bring her daughter to her concert because, aside from the venue not being suitable for kids, Ceana was also sick the day before her show.

The singer, however, said that she’s being taken care of by her mom.

BENEFIT CONCERT. The event also served as her way of giving back her blessings to the kids of National Children’s Hospital—which she named as her concert’s beneficiary.

Vina said she’s been helping the institution for several years already. She thought that by staging a benefit concert, she could also encourage the public to help NCH.

"Actually, it’s been years, matagal na. I never talked about it.

"But then, everyone needs to know din na maraming batang kailangan ng tulong sa National Children’s Hospital.

"After this concert, sana kayo rin po makatulong sa National Children’s Hospital."

She also thanked her fellow celebrities who participated in her anniversary concert.

Among these were Billy Crawford, Erik Santos, Jed Madela, Derek Ramsay, Ciara Sotto, Sam Milby, Pops Fernandez, and her younger sister Shaina Magdayao, who was seen having fun with boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz during the party.

PEP also spotted Ruffa Gutierrez, who endorses the same local real estate property that Vina is promoting, with her parents Eddie Gutierrez and Anabelle Rama.

Vina’s Nasaan Ka Elisa co-actress Agot Isidro also enjoyed the party with the rest of the show’s crew.

The party was also attended by German "Kuya Germs" Moreno. He was the main host of the defunct youth-oriented talent and variety show That’s Entertainment, where Vina was once a member.
