Priscilla Meirelles throws baby shower for Anechka, her child with John Estrada; confirms her husband will work on new Kapamilya soap

Priscilla Meirelles-Estrada on choosing the ninongs and ninangs of her baby girl: "I know that John grew up here and he’s a Filipino. So, he’d know better who is to choose to be the ninong and ninang of our kids."

"Actually, it was pronounced as Aneka.

"We were like, you know, having a hard time to pick a name because we are so picky when it comes to that, we really wanted our daughter to have a unique name.

"And a week ago we finally agreed that we had a common understanding with the name, we were searching through a lot of names and my husband chose Anechka.

"My husband liked the name because it is unique.

"It’s actually Russian, it’s a Russian name and it means—I like the fact that it symbolize—it means grace, and it’s also a biblical name, it means the one chosen by God to speak."

NINONGS AND NINANGS.

"He thinks I’m using my pregnancy as an excuse for eating a lot.

Paliwanag ni Priscilla, "I’m not from Manila, I’m a foreigner even though I’m a Filipina by heart and I know I have a lot of family and friends here already.

"But I know that John grew up here and he’s a Filipino. So, he’d know better who is to choose to be the ninong and ninang of our kids.

"I know ninong and ninang are second parents, second mom and dad, so dapat special people that we look up to your kids and be around.

"So, I just like give him that kind of responsibility."

HAPPY YIPEE YEHEY.

"I’ve been so busy that I didn’t know what’s going on," pahayag niya.

"I know he doesn’t wanna—if that’s anyhow true—he doesn’t wanna, you know, stress me with that."

"Ang alam ko ay he’s starting a soap opera, taping for a soap opera.

"So, mayro’n siyang project since dati and he’s fixing his schedule together with Happy Yipee [Yehey] to start that soap opera."
