Hanggang sa February 4 na lang ang noontime show ng ABS-CBN na Happy Yipee Yehey!.
Kinumpirma ito ng head ng Corporate Communications ng ABS-CBN na si Bong Osorio, sa pamamagitan ng e-mail na ipinadala sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ngayong gabi, January 26.
Magsisilbing last episode ng Happy Yipee Yehey! ang grand finals ng "My Girl," na gaganapin sa AFP Theater sa February 4, Sabado.
Nagpaabot naman ng pasasalamat ang pamunuan ng ABS-CBN sa hosts at staff ng programa para sa kanilang "hard work and contribution in giving our noontime viewers a ’happy, yipee, yehey’ experience for the past year."
Dagdag pa rito, bibigyan daw ng panibagong programa ang mga hosts ng Happy Yipee Yehey!.
Nagsimulang umere ang Happy Yipee Yehey! noong February 12, 2011.
Ang original hosts ng programa ay sina John Estrada, Randy Santiago, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca Manalo, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, at John Prats.
Naidagdag naman kinalaunan sina Pokwang at Rico J. Puno.
Ang katapat na programa ng Happy Yipee Yehey! ay ang longest-running noontime show sa bansa—32 years going on 33—na Eat Bulaga!, na umeere naman sa GMA-7.
Narito ang kabuuang statement ng ABS-CBN tungkol sa pamamaalam sa ere ng Happy Yipee Yehey!:
"Happy Yipee Yehey (HYY) will have its last episode with the grand finals of its ’My Girl’ search at the AFP Theater on Saturday, February 4, 2012.
"ABS-CBN is very grateful to the HYY hosts and production staff for their hard work and contribution in giving our noontime viewers a ’happy, yipee, yehey’ experience for the past year.
"We also extend our deepest gratitude to our viewers, here in the Philippines and in The Filipino Channel (TFC) markets worldwide, for their support to the program.
"The HYY hosts will be given new projects that kapamilyas will surely enjoy."
