Ai-Ai delas Alas makes Wako Wako viewer’s wish come true

What is Ai-Ai delas Alas’s Wako Wako wish? "Na marami pang magagandang show ang ABS-CBN and mag-rate pa rin ang aking Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4." She adds as an afterthought: "Happiness sa children, health, peace to all mankind!"

Cast members of the fantasy series Wako Wako trooped to the Glorietta 5 Atrium on May 19to promote its last week on TV by granting select wishes of its promo, "Dear Wako, Ano Ang Wish Mo?"

Also there to support Wako Wako and to promote their own teen show Luv U were: Rhap Salazar, Kiray Celis and Igiboy Flores, CJ Navato and Angeli Gonzalez, Miles Ocampo and Marco Gamboa.

They kept the audience entertained by singing pop songs.

Ryan Bang of Banana Split: Extra Scoop and It’s Showtime was there, too. His Wako Wako wish was: "Lahat ng madlang people masaya..."

Ventriloquist Ruther Urquia and his puppet Titoy of Pilipinas Got Talent season 1 kept the kids and adults amused.

He also helped grant the wish of a barangay secretary from Laguna. She had wished for school supplies for 50 kids whose parents are poor farmers.

Wako Wako promised it would grant wishes that are pure or "wagas na hiling."

Cast members Liezel Garcia, Markki Stroem, and Franco Daza helped award the following wishes:

1) Reading glasses for three ladies courtesy of Executive Optical.

2) A washing machine for a teen-ager’s mom who works as a labandera.

3) A cellphone for a 61-year old mom who would otherwise cross two rivers to reach the nearest telephone.

Ai-Ai delas Alas, who plays Dyosa Marishka in the family-oriented show, helped grant the wishes of a girl suffering from cerebral palsy. She wished for medicines, adult diapers, milk, and a TV set for her baby brother, and for her mom to meet Ai-Ai in person.

Done!

Ai-Ai shared what it’s like to be part of Wako Wako: "Siyempre kakaiba etong show namin na pang kids, pambata, parang bumalik ako sa pagkabata...

"At naniniwala tayo na kung ano man ang ating mga wish, ay ang iba dito, magaganap."
