“Thank you, please tell everyone that in caps!” sabi niya habang nangingiti.
“Before, I’m 235 pounds. But now, I’m 190 pounds or 195? I’ll check. Maybe, 20 more pounds pa to lose.
“I’m achieving… sana 170 pounds to 175 pounds.”
Paano niya ginawa ang pagpapapayat?
“Yung gym… diet and gym—that’s it,” sagot niya.
CAREER MOVE.
“Yeah, it’s not nice. It wasn’t pretty!” sabay tawa niya sa sinabi.
Everyone wants to look good, and I went through an ugly phase!” prangkahang assessment niya sa dati niyang hitsura.
“Hello! Look at my clothes I used to wear—tight shirts, big tats, big hair…
“So, I just want to try something different. Para… di ba, I was a DJ before?
“So, when I changed from being a DJ to a recording artist, I wanna try everything new—sa image—job career.”
ALL IN THE FAMILY.
“Hehehe… you said that. Don’t quote me, be careful," biro niya sa amin.
“Well, he’s [Martin] not fat. He’s 50.
“You know you have to give… someone like that, who still works every single day… credit for still looking like he does.
“But I never… I didn’t ask help from them. They still make fun of me for not eating rice.
“Kasi before, kumakain ako ng kanin all the time. Now, I’m trying to stop. So, they still make fun of me for not eating.
“I still eat. I still love to eat food. It’s just that I’m trying to be healthier. I just wanna look a little better.
“Now, to answer your question? None of them!” sabay tawa niya.
“I work out by myself,” dugtong niya.
“You know they’re very busy. I’ve seen my mom work out. I’ve seen my dad work out.
“So, equally, I’ve been in the gym and at diet with the both of them equally.
“But it wasn’t about them. It’s just about how much I wanted to do it.”
“Yeah, sobrang hirap—super hirap. I love to eat, e. Especially rice. When you eat Filipino food, kanin-kanin-kanin.
“I have to try to eat adobo, crispy… yun lechon... walang rice! Hirap niyan!” paliwanag niya sa kanyang diet regimen.
SINGING CAREER.
“Oh, we just started. We released the album March. And we just re-launched it in ASAP.
“It’s out on mymusic.com, iTunes, any record stores. It’s called Overwait and there are two singles now—’In 3’s’…
“And we just released my other single, ’Smile,’ which I just sang a while ago.”
“Of course naman. I mean, ever since I was a baby, everything around me was singing, music, tours, albums, recordings.
“So I’ve experienced it and I wanna see if I can do it. So, that’s what I’m here now.
“Hindi siya acoustic. I have a band.
“More blues, more jazz.
NOT LIVING TOGETHER.
Sabi ni Robin, “Oh, because we don’t live in the same house anymore. I live in an apartment.
“So she lives at home in her house and I finally lived out. It’s been maybe a year and half now.
“I’m 25 now! Time to move on!” natawa niyang sabi.
“But I have lunch with her every day, we have dinner every Sunday.
“When my dad’s here, we have dinner with him.
“So, yeah, she just calls me and says let’s have lunch and then we’ll talk.
“She just misses the fact na I’m 25 na, e. Times are getting, you know…”
