After 16 weeks, GMA-7’s afternoon soap opera Yesterday’s Bride will end in two weeks’ time.
GMA-7 invited select writers, including PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), to visit the lead stars as they shot key scenes of the show in Angeles, Pampanga.
Leading-man Rocco Nacino was one of the stars present that day to talk about their show.
They revealed that they will shoot two wedding scenes this weekend, but they refused to divulge who among Rocco and Luis Alandy will end up with Lovi’s character.
CONTROVERSIAL DANCE ON PARTY PILIPINAS. PEP also took this opportunity to ask Rocco about the controversial dance that he and Lovi Poe performed during the January 27 episode of Party Pilipinas, the weekly musical-variety show of GMA-7.
That particular number elicited various reaction from the viewers, mosty of which complained because of the very sexy movements made by Lovi and Rocco,
Did the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) talk to him regarding this production number?
“Party P ang humarap…pero ang alam ko okay na. Dance lang naman yun,” said Rocco during the January 7 interview held in Pampanga.
How did he respond to the negative feedback given by viewers regarding the said dance?
“You cannot please everyone. Ganun talaga. Kailangan tatagan mo ang sarili mo.
"May mga tao naman na natuwa, pero mas marami ang negative sa kanila.”
Did Rocco think that he and Lovi did something wrong during their dance number?
“Wala, wala sinunod lang naman namin ang instructions,” Rocco pointed out.
Earlier today, January 8, the MTRCB placed Party Pilipinas on probation for six months over “sexually-charged scenes.”

Does this mean that he is already thinking of settling down?
“Maaga pa pero karamihan ng mga kaibigan ko, nagpapakasal na.
"Ang dami ko nang na-attend-an na kasal na ako ang abay. Tinatanong nila ako, ‘Ikaw, kailan ka?’

Does he regret what happened between him and Sheena Halili?
“Hindi kami masyadong nagkikita ngayon.
"I’m going on through work. It’s part of life.”

"Kahit papaano, pero mas okay na mag-usap pa kami. I’d like to talk to her pa.
“Nami-miss ko rin siya.”
Is he ready to date again?
“No, kaya wala akong plano sa Valentine’s Day. I’m thinking of myself.
"Kasi kada Valentine’s, I spend it with my friends, my family, my loved one.
"Ngayon siguro, pahinga muna…for a change, para maiba.”
Would he say that he is single now?
"Yes," answered Rocco.
