Marian Rivera and Gerald Anderson win top acting honors at 2013 Golden Screen TV Awards; Walang Hanggan named Best Drama Series

Sina Gerald Anderson at Marian Rivera ang itinanghal na Outstanding Actor and Actress in a Drama Series sa katatapos lang na 2013 Golden Screen TV Awards para sa pagganap nila sa Budoy at Amaya.


Nagkamit ng tatlong awards ang primetime series ng ABS-CBN na Walang Hanggan sa katatapos lamang na 2013 Golden Screen TV Awards ng Entertainment Press Society o Enpress.

Ginanap ang awarding ceremonies ngayong gabi, March 1, sa Teatrino Greenhills.

Kabilang sa napanalunan ng Walang Hanggan ay ang Outstanding Original Drama Series, at acting honors para kina Helen Gamboa (Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series) at Paulo Avelino (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, ka-tie si Neil Ryan Sese para sa Munting Heredera).

Ngunit ang top acting awards sa Drama Series category ay nakuha nina Marian Rivera para sa Amaya at Gerald Anderson para sa Budoy.

Tinalo ni Marian sa kategoryang Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series ang Superstar na si Nora Aunor (Sa Ngalan Ng Ina), si Dawn Zulueta (Walang Hanggan), si Xyriel Manabat (100 Days To Heaven), at ang kapwa niya Kapuso na sina Alessandra de Rossi at Lovi Poe para sa Legacy.

Kabilang naman sa tinalo ni Gerald bilang Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series sina: Alden Richards (One True Love), Coco Martin (Walang Hanggan), Dingdong Dantes (My Beloved), Jericho Rosales (Dahil sa Pag-ibig), Piolo Pascual (Dahil Sa Pag-ibig), at Richard Gomez (Walang Hanggan).

Natalo man sina Coco at Dingdong sa kategoryang ito ay nag-uwi pa rin sila ng tropeyo.

Si Coco ay nagwaging Outstanding Performance of by an Actor in a Single Drama or Telemovie Program para sa kanyang pagganap sa “Kamao” episode ng Maalaala Mo Kaya.

Si Dingdong naman ay nanalong Outstanding Original Reality Competition Program Host para sa Protégé: The Battle For The Big Artista Break.

Ang longest-running noontime show na Eat Bulaga! ay pinarangalan bilang Outstanding Variety Program, samantalang ang ASAP 2012 ang nagwaging Outstanding Musical Program.

Dalawa sa hosts ng Eat Bulaga! na sina Ryan Agoncillo at Julia Clarete ang nanalong Outstanding Male and Female Host.

Ang Pepito Manaloto ang nagwaging Outstanding Comedy Program, samantalang ang Bubble Gang ang nanalong Outstanding Gag Program.

Napanalunan naman nina Ogie Alcasid at Angelica Panganiban ang awards para sa Outstanding Actor and Actress in a Comedy or Gag Program para sa Bubble Gang at Banana Split.

Sina Richard “Papa Chen” Yap at Jasmine Curtis Smith ang nakakuha ng awards sa kategoryang Outstanding Breakthrough Performance para sa My Binondo Girl at Utol Kong Hoodlum, respectively.

Ang ABS-CBN ang ginawaran ng Outstanding TV Network dahil ito ang nagkamit ng pinakamaraming awards. Twenty-six ang napanalunang awards nito.

Humakot naman ng 19 awards ang GMA-7 at tatlo ang nakuha ng news channel nitong GMA News TV.

Ang TV5 naman ay nanalo ng apat na awards.
