QUEEN OF SUMMER ENDORSEMENTS.
Aniya, “Oo nga ’no, we see each other every week.”
Saad niya, “I’m very thankful. I’m just thankful na meron, I’m thankful that these brands continue trusting me.”
REINVENTION.
She keeps on reinventing herself; is there always a conscious effort to keep reinventing?
Sagot niya, “Not really, no.”
Dagdag pa niya, “There’s not really a conscious effort but I think as you age, it just comes naturally and I’m happy that all my fans and followers, they accept whatever change I make, or how I aged, throughout the show business.
“And you know it’s never been a perfect Anne, it’s never a perfect metamorphosis of changing and making mistakes.”
“It was like a smooth journey of aging and changing image. You know I made my... and no matter what decision was made or mistake was made, they have supported me.”
Pahayag niya, “I’m just having... I guess people can relate to that. It’s not easy... something will happen to you that may not be as pleasant... but I think the key to it is not hiding it.
“If it happens, it happens. Own up to it and people will accept you more.”
“I think, someone or everyone can relate to ‘coz you’re not the perfect... image, you’re not that perfect role model, you’re a human being also.”
Seryosong sagot niya, “My advice to them is to be true to yourself, you know... experiment in a way that you want to.
“You’re not following a trend, you’re not following another person because it’s your own identity, it’s your own journey, make it your own journey so that you won’t have any regrets about anything.”
IN SEARCH OF FRESH PRODUCTION CONCEPTS.
Pag-amin ni Anne, “I think from watching [international TV shows]. Watching other people perform, like the Rihanna [inspired number], it is really Rihanna’s performance on X Factor, when the rain was falling, when I saw it on X Factor sabi ko, ‘Oh my gosh, I have to do this once in my life.”
“And you know I really thought, I can’t do it in Showtime, ’coz it’s a fun show, you can’t do there an act like pa-singer [real singer], so I think ASAP was the perfect place to do that. So, that’s why I celebrated it there.”
Aniya, “It’s more of researching, and finding out what new thing you’re capable of doing.”
Dagdag pa niya, “And that’s what we did, I’ve add a little things, because I think I’m not the perfect singer anyway, so make “birit” at the end, di ba?”
“Even when the Beyonce Superbowl thing came out, I asked myself if I could do that as well. So, even before Showtime knew about it, nag-tweet na ako: ‘Abangan ninyo ang Beyonce Superbowl-inspired performance.’
“And ginawa ko and its really up to you, to do certain ideas that you really wanna do. You know, do it for yourself.”
Matapos ang kanyang Rihanna- at Beyonce-inspired numbers, what’s the next move?
Natatawang sagot nito, “I dont know, bahala na...
“You know, that’s why I rarely get to do those things, e, parang sa birthday ko lang or when I have a concert, or Showtime grand finals...
“That’s when I’ll really push certain ideas regarding what I can do and that’s why I make the most out of it and I don’t think there’s anything wrong if I get inspirations from other people, kung pang-Hollywood din lang kaya din ng mga Pinoy yan.
“You should have that mentality—hindi lang Hollywood ang may kaya niyan, kaya din natin yan.”
ATTENTION ELLEN DEGENERES.
Nakangiti niyang banggit, “Why not, sana ma-discover ako ni Ellen [Degeneres].”
Biro niya, “A, hindi siguro as a singer, but as I said, I’ve never been a singer naman and I dont pretend, so that’s why I do something... I try to make sure that people will be entertained.”
CRITICISMS. Lahad ni Anne, “It’s never an issue, it’s not an issue for me coz I never hid it.”
“I never said this is my idea, I always announce its inspired by Rihanna, or its inspired by Beyonce, kasi parang gusto ko ding kayanin ko yun.
“So, I think people who are saying that maybe di sila nagpa-follow sa akin sa Twitter, they don’t know na ina-annouce ko naman who it is inspired by.”
