Lucy Torres-Gomez to file motion for reconsideration; describes politics as “laro ng demonyo”

Gayunman, naniniwala si Lucy na, “I have done my part and I know that I enjoy the people’s overwhelming support.”

Dagdag pa ni Te, “He [Richard] was held ineligible for failure to comply with residency requirements. Thus, absent a valid substitution Ms. Torres-Gomez could not have been considered a candidate.”

“LONG BEEN SETTLED.”

Dagdag pa ng abugado ni Lucy, ang isyung ito ay “have long been settled… this is just a temporary setback. The good Congresswoman will continue with her duties.”

“Resolution of the First Division, this Commission, in SPA No. 09-059 speaks for disqualification of candidate Richard Gomez and not of cancellation of his Certificate of Candidacy.

"The disqualification of a candidate does not automatically cancel one’s Certificate of Candidacy, especially, when it is nominated by a political party. In effect, the political party is still allowed to substitute for the candidate whose candidacy was declared disqualified.”

Aniya, “My opponents have done this before. I know I have done my part and I know that I enjoy the people’s overwhelming support.”

“This strengthens my resolve to continue to fight.
