Andi Eigenmann chooses to prioritize career and daughter Ellie over lovelife for now

“I want to prove to people na I’m meant to stay, I’m meant to be here, and I still deserve all those other projects that I had, prior to being pregnant.”

“This time kasi, it’s a comedy, and I’ve never done that before.

“All the comedians that we have, they’re really brilliant and I really admire them.

“Of course. I’m gonna gather all source that I have, kahit saan man, para matuto ako.

“For me, naniniwala ako na hindi naman puwede kahit na gaano karaming beses ko nang na-experience ang isang bagay, I can never be too good, the best or expert at it.

"There’s always a room for being better, for improvement, and that’s what I want for my craft.

“I just want to be better actress, each project that I have.”

“It’s never cut down to just one thing na paulit-ulit lang. Palaging ibang-iba from the one that I did last…

“Meron akong currently na sinu-shoot ngayon.

“I shot this indie film called Coming Soon, that’s airing [showing] this summer.

"Then after that, another heavy drama about family, Nagalit Ang Buwan Sa Haba Ng Gabi.

“After that, ito naman. So, walang magkakapareho talaga. Nothing is alike. Kaya nakakatuwa.”

Kayang-kaya kong mag-action!” buong-kumpiyansang bulalas ng 22-year-old third-generation actress.

Patuloy niya, “Sure na sure akong kaya kong mag-action kaysa mag-comedy…

“Kasi… ewan ko, mahilig ako, e.

“I like to describe myself as adventurous, somehow. I like experiencing something new.

DON’T STOP BELIEVING.

“I’m just really dedicated to what I do. Ang dali para sa akin to motivate myself, to look this way and to shed-off all the weight, kasi I want to stay in this industry.

“I want to prove to people na I’m meant to stay, I’m meant to be here, and I still deserve all those other project that I had, prior to being pregnant.

“And I want to show also that just because something like that happened to me, hindi ibig sabihin na I don’t deserve to be happy and that I don’t deserve for all my dreams to come true anymore.

“I really believe that all you need to do is to believe. Just to keep believing and to never stop.

“And whatever it is that you want, you’ll get it.”

CAREER AND ELLIE.

“Oh, I’m happy,” nakangiting sabi ni Andi.

“I’m single and I’m happy. I don’t have a lovelife. All I have is Ellie, and you know, I’ve never been this happy before,” banggit pa ng Kapamilya actress sa kanyang anak na babae.

Wala bang umaali-aligid o nagpaparamdam sa kanya?

“Meron. Pero ‘bayaan mo na sila.

“Hindi naman deadma. Pero, for me, it’s not an important aspect of my life right now. It’s not, parang…naghahanap ng relationship ngayon, hindi ko naman gustong magka-boyfriend.

“Mas gusto ko talaga na mag-prioritize ng work and kay Ellie.”
