Lahad niya sa mga hosts na sina Direk Joey Reyes at Cristy Fermin, “I think, uhm, it’s all about communication. But nagkakaroon naman ng communication breakdown in any relationship,” paliwanag niya.
MISUNDERSTANDING WITH RITA AVILA. “There’s always going to be misunderstanding. Pag nagkaroon ng misunderstanding nasisira ang relationships, di ba?
“You know, I personally spoke to Rita as soon as I found out about the issue and we talked about it. I had even apologized pero lumalabas pa rin na kontrabida pa rin ako.”
“Maybe it’s because my role here is very controversial. When I talked to direk Mac Alejandre he said, ‘You know I wanna bring the level of your being kontrabida to another level.’
“And so we had this state to let anybody [viewers] hate you on the show. I really brought that to the set,” dagdag pa niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “However…pero yung iba pini-personal na and I told Rita na I had no intention whatsoever of offending anybody especially you and nung nag-usap kami.”
“Akala ko naging maayos na but even after, ang nangyari…nagtaka rin ako…even after we talked andami pa ring lumalabas.”
Tugon ni Alice, “Thank you for that, I just don’t want also to be just a pretty face on TV. I also wanted to do this… to give justice to the character that I did, and malaki ang pasasalamat ko sa production— the cast, the wonderful cast members who I worked with because they really brought out a really new different character in me.”
“Out of, let’s say 100 comments, 2 or 3 lang hindi naging maganda and I’m very also happy with that outcome.”
DIVORCE GRANTED. Late last year, pumutok naman ang balitang hiwalay na nga si Alice sa asawa nitong si Ronnie Miranda at inaayos na daw nila ang kanilang divorce. Nai-grant na daw ito Pebrero nitong taon.
Kuwento niya, “Okay naman, the divorce was finalized in February, early February. Actually everything was already in place [before December].
“In December, it was just a matter of filing, and so because we had discussed all of the details ahead, it was just something personal that we had to wait until December to file.”
Babalik ba siya ng Vancouver, Canada?
Lahad nito, “You know I haven’t really decided because I just became a Canadian citizen in December 2012.”
“And, I’m still also running my commercial real estate businesses there with my partners.
“Yes, I’m going to be leaving next month to take care of some family, personal and business-related matters in the States and in Canada, and so I’d like still… to keep my residency there kasi sayang naman.”
Dagdag pa niya, “But you know nandito yung trabaho, nandito yung opportunities so as long as nandito yun, I’ll be here.
“I don’t plan to go anywhere very soon because yun nga... citizen naman ako, walang issue of me going back and forth [to Canada].”
STILL FRIENDS WITH RONNIE.
Tugon niya, “It was a difficult year before the divorce because it’s always difficult, but then after, I was surprised because out of all yung mga naging exes ko, naging amicable kami at totoo namang sincere yung friendship namin.”
Dagdag pa nito, “We were together for over… well, we were married for 13 years and together for 16 years.”
