Martin Nievera on Charice’s new look: “It’s the choice of the artist. It’s the mood of the artist. We have to live with that.”

“We’re people, you know. Artists are weird people.

“Hindi kami exempted kung marami kaming moods, kung gusto naming mahaba ang buhok o gusto naming may make-up o walang make-up.

“It’s the choice of the artist. It’s the mood of the artist.

“We have to live with that.”

“Well, like any other family that has a problem, so be it.

“We’re in the world of showbiz so it’s better that we just let them solve their own problems.

“The more we comment on it, or we bring the lights and cameras on the doorstep, the more na nahihirapan sila.

“So it would be best na hayaan na lang natin sila.

“Si Charice, the last time we spoke with her and yung nagkita kami was yung nanalo si KZ—and that was it.”

“Oh, I feel great!” bulalas niya.

“I won an award many, many years ago and this foundation [GMMSF Inc.] has been very kind to artists.

“In fact, Robin has been awarded in realizing his dreams finally.

“I’m proud of him.”

MESSAGE SENT.

I just wanted a platform.

“I just wanted an audience with my boss at ABS-CBN whom I adore—and I hope they adore me the same.

“But sometimes, you have to go and do a little bit of noise to be heard.

“That’s why we use Facebook, we use Twitter.”

“My apologies to them if they took it the wrong way.

“And I’m really grateful to them and I believe in my show.

“Until I give every Kapamilya an episode each, then my job is not yet finished.”

Pahayag niya, “Tomorrow’s [May 20] my meeting with Ma’m Charo [Santos-Concio], Ma’m Cory [Vidanes].

“I sent them flowers, tweeted Ma’am Cory on her birthday.

“Whatever it takes that I just believe so much on my show and I want to grow old with ABS-CBN.

“I don’t want them to be dependent on me and be a goodnight boy.

“I believe so much in this network.”

Ngunit ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, hanggang two episodes na lang ang late-night talk show ni Martin sa ABS-CBN.

LOYAL KAPAMILYA.

Sabi ni Martin, “I have offers all the time.

“I’m so blessed that even I’m in the middle of my career, I’m still getting all these offers from other stations. It’s really interesting.

“I don’t have this contract but I’m still with ABS CBN. I’m loyal to them.

“I was their very first TV host… I’m talking about the new ABS-CBN, ha.

“I’ve sang the Star Network theme song. I’ve done so many things with them.”

Diin niya, “It’s so hard for me to leave this station.

“I’m only leaving if no one is interested in me. I’ll be very sad.

“I fell in love with every single person… behind the cameras, everyone.”

Sabi ni Martin, “It takes a lot of passion.

“You have to love it and you have to grow with it.

“The best thing is you know how to listen and be interested wih them.”
