Zsa Zsa Padilla on falling in love again: "I don’t feel that I need a special person in this time of my life."

It’s almost a year since Zsa Zsa Padilla’s partner Dolphy died. But the Divine Diva says she’s not thinking about having another relationship. She says, “I like this space in my life because for the first time in my life, I’m by myself, I’m independent, I concentrate on my children, my work.”

Tsaka tag-ulan na rin, e, it’s almost a year.

“Basta every 10, I always try to visit him.

“We have a simple mass doon sa tomb niya, tapos konting salu-salo, gano’n lang.

EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

“He’s in a happy place na. Mahirap naman if you don’t let go.”

Pero pahabol niya, habang nakangiting nakatingin sa kanyang mga kamay, “Of course, easier said than done.”

Kuwento ni Zsa Zsa, “My birthday kasi, sabi ko, ‘I don’t want to have birthday blues.’

"I asked ASAP also to give me songs na celebratory. Sabi ko, ‘Please, walang malungkot,’ and it’s a good feeling, a good mood.

“Kasi I don’t feel like crying, e.

"Before, prior to that sa soap [Juan dela Cruz], I was crying.

“But last night I was crying kasi I feel a little low, so… I miss Dolphy’s voice.

“But I was happy. I was listening to his album, but of course tears-tears… alam mo yung happy, pero ‘I just miss you.’”

"I LIKE THIS SPACE."

“If it happens, it does. Siguro kasi because I’m still mourning, so malayo pa.”

Dagdag pa niya, “If you analyze it, people my age would want somebody half my age.

“If I get naman someone older than me, baka ma-tegi [mamatay]… baka naman mabiyuda na naman ako!” sabay tawa nito.

Aniya, “It’s just that I like this space in my life because for the first time in my life, I’m by myself, I’m independent, I concentrate on my children, my work.

"I don’t feel that I need a special person in this time of my life.”
