After the success of her recent Star Cinema and Skylight Films movie, Call Center Girl, comedienne Pokwang feels that the Christmas season is the right time to give back and share her blessings.
The generous heart of the 43-year-old Kapamilya comedy star was in full display when she hosted the Kapamilya Salu-Salo event, together with actor John Lloyd Cruz, last December 7, at the Villamor Airbase in Pasay City.
Topping her Christmas to-do list is to give gifts to people in need, especially those who were greatly affected by Yolanda.
When asked about her plans, she replied, “Gift-giving sa ating mga kababayan.”
This Christmas, Pokwang has planned to do something new for her family. She is taking them to a trip out of town.
“Mag-out of town kami ng anak ko, nanay ko kasama.
“Baka magpunta kami sa Boracay... first time naming gagawin ‘to.
“Pero pag New Year bahay kami lagi.”
CHRISTMAS TRADITION. Pokwang said that every Christmas day, her siblings would come and throw her house into chaotic merriment.
What she appreciates the most, Pokwang said, are the Christmas cards from her niece and nephews.
After the success of her movie is she giving herself a reward for her hard work?
