Justin Bieber stunned students at California's Chatsworth Charter High School when he gatecrashed their prom at the weekend.

Justin Bieber gatecrashed a high school prom at the weekend.

The "Believe" hitmaker stunned students at Chatsworth Charter High School in California when he arrived unannounced at their dance on Saturday, April 26, and immediately hit the dance floor.

Video footage posted on social media showed the 21-year-old singer, wearing a brown shirt and black fedora, looking happy and relaxed as he was surrounded by screaming fans and he even danced briefly with one lucky girl.



Justin—who was reportedly on his way to a nearby recording studio before spontaneously deciding to go to the prom—was accompanied to the school by friend and rumored love interest Hailey Baldwin, her friend Gabby Westbrook, and songwriter and producer Jason 'Poo Bear' Boyd.

Hailey tweeted: "I found a prom and @gabbywestbrook was my prom date"

And the "Baby" singer later admitted he had fulfilled a long-held ambition to go to a traditional prom.

He tweeted to the school's own account: "Justin Bieber showing up at our prom? I think we know who had the best prom this year #cchsprom", he replied: "always wanted to go to prom. Thanks for having me. #promcrasher :)"

The "Beauty and a Beat" star also retweeted a number of excited postings from students in attendance.

One posting excitedly read: "THANK YOU @justinbieber FOR THE BEST PROM"

And another said: "No other prom will ever be as turnt as #ChatsworthProm2k15 !! Did @justinbieber go to your prom ??"
