Chito Miranda declines P2 million offer from presidential candidate

"Di ko tinanggap kasi gusto ko suportahan si Duterte o si Miriam kahit walang bayad," explains Chito Miranda why he declined the P2 million offer to endorse a presidential candidate.

Chito Miranda is making sure that his vote for the 2016 national elections will be spent on the people he truly believes in.

This is the reason he declined a hefty offer from the camp of one of the presidential candidates he will not vote.

On his Twitter account, Chito disclosed to his followers that he was offered P2 million just to post something about a certain presidential candidate.

The Parokya ni Edgar frontman did not think twice in saying “no” to the offer, because he's firm about his support for Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago or former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

I was offered P2M to tweet for a presidential candidate. Di ko tinanggap kasi gusto ko suportahan si Duterte o si Miriam kahit walang bayad.

Chito, however, said he does not know who among the presidential candidates sought his endorsement.

For those who are asking kung sino yung nag-offer, di ko rin alam kasi ayaw sabihin nung agency. They wanted to see muna kung game ako. :)

Pero sabagay, ok din si Lucifer, si Inter-Galactic, or yung nagpapanggap na asawa ni Kris Aquino. Hahaha! #Halalan2016

Sen. Santiago announced her presidential bid on Tuesday saying that she has already survived cancer.

Duterte, on the other hand, reiterated earlier this week that he's not interested to run for president.

But his supporters are still pushing him to reconsider running for president.

In fact, her daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio and other local officials shaved their heads to show support for Duterte.

There are rumors that Duterte willl announce something very important today, October 15.
