Bianca Gonzalez says rivalry among fandoms is "getting out of hand"; answers "defensive" tweets from AlDub fans

Bianca Gonzalez to an AlDub fan: "Why are you defensive? I never EVER said Aldub tweets are not real. You have phenomenal numbers. Walang mali sa sinabi ko."

Bianca Gonzalez didn’t hesitate to answer feedback from certain AlDub (Alden Richards-Yaya Dub) fans who seemed to have misinterpreted her opinion about the stiff competition among fandoms to trend on social media.

It all stemmed from her first Twitter post, which read: “The pressure that some fans put on themselves to trend is getting out of hand. I hope they know that’s not what matters most."

Although Bianca didn’t exactly name names, there were some AlDub fans that defended their stance on tweeting out of love and not mere “pressure” to gain millions of tweets for specific hashtags of their preferred love team.

Bianca, for her part, maintained that she didn't intend to criticize AlDub fans, adding that she's merely concerned with the teens' order of priorities these days.

@ObligedToWin Why are you defensive? I never EVER said Aldub tweets are not real. You have phenomenal numbers. Walang mali sa sinabi ko. 😉

@MsTwinkieStar Sino ba nag-assume para sa Aldub fans ang tweet ko? Like I said, phenomenal numbers niyo. Wag defensive. Its for all fandoms.

@josmictweets The trending is no problem, its fantastic. Its the PRESSURE that SOME fans put on themselves to trend that is alarming.

@ObligedToWin When I see some teens more hooked on tweeting anuman ang network, rather than studying for school, yun ang alarming. Mali ba?

At the same time, Bianca clarified that it's not an issue about fans of love teams from different TV networks.

This was after the Kapamilya TV host was called a "hypocrite" for criticizing Twitter behavior of fans.

As it is, certain fans pointed out that Bianca co-hosts a reality show that also use hashtags for it to trend on social media.

@ObligedToWin Its not about networks, its about young people being aware and balancing their real and online life. Don't be so defensive.

@MsTwinkieStar And again, walang sinisiraan ang opinyon ko. Its a healthy reminder for any fan of any fandom of any show of any network.
