Vic Sotto predicts AlDub will be the Box-Office King and Queen

“I'm hoping that they will really support us. Deep inside, I'm sure that they wiill support the movie,” said Alden Richards when asked if he thinks AlDub Nation will watch My Bebe Love. The film also stars Vic Sotto, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and Maine Mendoza. Jose Javier Reyes directed the film.

Vic Sotto thinks that his My Bebe Love co-stars, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, will be the next Box Office King and Queen.

Vic made this bold statement at the press conference of their movie in Davao City, Friday, December 18.

The Eat Bulaga! host told the local reporters: “I would like to make a prediction. Mahilig kayo sa prediction, e.

"For 2016, we'll have a new Box Office King and Queen. Those guys over there [pointing to Alden and Maine].

"Tandaan niyo ang prediction ko."

Alden and Maine, on the other hand, were both visibly surprised at Vic's statement.

When (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked for their reaction, Maine said, “Ayaw kong mag-comment about dun. Pero kung mangyayari man, e, di wow!”

Alden, on the other hand, said, “For us po, it's an honor po coming from the Box Office King himself. So, thank you, Bossing, sana magdilang-anghel po kayo, sana.”


Vic then said to Alden: “Basta pagbalik ng 2017, ibalik mo sa akin. Pahiram lang, ha.”

SUPPORT FROM ALDUB NATION. In a separate interview with local reporters in Davao, Alden said he's hoping that the AlDub Nation—the supporters of his love team with Maine—will support their first movie together.

He said, “I'm really hoping that AlDub Nation will support and I'm sure that they will.

“It's our first movie together. It's Maine and I's first movie.

“Parang the support that we're getting nga from the fans is really strong. We can feel that they support us in everything we do.

“So, I'm hoping that they will really support us. Deep inside, I'm sure that they will support the movie.”

My Bebe Love is one of the eight official entries to the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival, which will premiere on Christmas Day, December 25.
