Alden Richards's Wish I May album reaches double platinum

Alden Richards became emotional once again as he receives a double platinum award for his second album, Wish I May, during the live episode of Sunday Pinasaya this Sunday, December 20.


Viewers once again saw a teary-eyed Alden Richards when he received a double platinum award for his album under GMA Records, Wish I May.

This was announced earlier today, December 20, at GMA Network's noontime comedy-variety show Sunday Pinasaya.

In his segment “Chef Boy Next Door,” The Philippine Association of Recording Industry (PARI) gave Alden his double platinum award.

After receiving the award, Alden admitted in tears that even though he gets tired with his schedule and projects, he always gets inspired with the recognition and the support he keeps on getting.

The My Bebe Love star said, “Alam niyo kahit ang dami kong ginagawa sa tapings and sobrang napapagod ako with a lot of schedules, alam niyo yung mga ganitong simpleng bagay, it means a lot.

“Thank you sa lahat ng sumusuporta!”

After the awarding, Alden tweeted his message of thanks for his supporters.

In his tweet, he said, “Wala na po akong masabi.Sobrang maraming maraming salamat po! To God be always the glory!“ALDUB YOU ALL TO THE MAX.”

Alden first launched his album last October 17, wherein it already reached the Gold record status because of pre-orders on both physical and digital copies of the album.
