For Jodi Sta. Maria, it does not have to be Valentine’s Day in order to make our loved ones feel loved and special.
“For me kasi, every day can be Heart’s Day, di ba?
“It doesn’t have to be na parang certain day lang na February 14 lang tayo magmamahalan o magpapadala ng notes or magsi-say ng 'I love you' to each other.
“But you see, we can do that every single day and make those people important to us.
“We make them feel cherished and loved and valued and appreciated every single day.”
Asked about her Valentine plans, the actress replied briefly: “Oh, well it’s going to be spent with my family.”
Jodi did not mention her boyfriend, actor-turned-politician Jolo Revilla.
Does her son Thirdy, who is now 6 years old, already has an idea about Valentine’s Day?
Jodi replied, “I’m not sure kung talagang napag-uusapan sa school nila yung Valentine’s Day.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press talked to Jodi during her launch as the new ambassador of Avon Cherish fragrance, at the Cru Steakhouse in Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, Tuesday, February 9.
ON ELECTION. With the 2016 elections happening in a few months, the Pangako Sa ‘Yo star was also asked if she is endorsing any politician.
As for the qualities of a politician she would most likely vote, Jodi said, “I think, unang-una diyan yung character, yung integrity is very important.
