Jed Madela saddened by changes in ASAP

Jed Madela on changes in ASAP: "Ang plastic ko pag sinabi kong hindi ako nalulungkot. Of course, nalulungkot ako. I've been with ASAP for more than ten years. It's been a habit to me. Every Sunday, pag walang ASAP, parang kulang. But, of course, you have to understand that it's hard to run a show."

Pahayag niya, “With all honesty, nakakalungkot naman talaga that these things are happening right now.

“But I understand the side of ASAP.

“It is very difficult to run a show with so many constraints, so many rules to follow, so many artists na dapat pagbigyan.

“Well, ako lang, I’m still behind ASAP all the way through ASAP Champions.

“All I can do is support ASAP no matter what decision they make, nandiyan lang palagi kami for ASAP.”

Of course, nalulungkot ako.

“I’ve been with ASAP for more than ten years.

“It’s been a habit to me. Every Sunday, pag walang ASAP, parang kulang.

“But of course you have to understand that it’s hard to run a show.

“I’m sure, sobrang hirap na hirap ang mga staff at mga boss dun sa ASAP para lang i-run lang yung show to give in to every requests.”

Paniniyak pa niya, “We’re fine, we’re okay.

“I did ASAP today, pero yun nga, medyo madalang na lang kami maga-ASAP.

“Kasi nga I understand that ASAP has been cut down to two hours.

“Ang dami-daming artists ngayon, it’s the only avenue for artists to showcase their talents, e, ang dami-dami namang talaga.

“E, kami naman, we had our time.

“I’m not saying na wala na kami sa ASAP, we’re still part of the show, abangan lang nila.”

STILL BUSY.

Saad niya, “Right now, I’m very excited, after the success of All Requests dito sa Manila, ongoing tour siya sa US.

“I just got back from Las Vegas, babalik ako dun sa July for another tour.

“Pero magsismula na naman ako ng isang bagong concert series this coming May or June.

“This is in line with my album Iconic.

“The concert is called The Iconic Concert series.

“There’s going to be four shows in Music Museum then the fifth show is going to be a bigger show, probably in Kia Theater.

“It’s doing very well, sobra akong saya.

“Basically, walk-in talaga, talagang binibili yung album kasi gusto nila.”
