Boy Abunda hopeful for the incoming Duterte administration

Saad ng veteran TV host at talent manager, “Let’s give it a try. Let’s support it as citizens.

“I’ve been very open about... iba’t iba ang ating ibinoto.

“I was honest from the very beginning that I did not vote for our president, but now na nagsalita na ang sambayanang Pilipino at siya ang nanalo, suportahan natin.

“Let’s see what we can do to make this government work. That’s how I feel.

“Dapat pagtulung-tulungan natin.

"This is not just about government, this is not just about bureaucracy, this is about us. This is about our lives.

“So, I think we should participate in governance by being active citizens.”

Tugon niya, “I am hopeful. I am hopeful.

“I am hopeful and sobra ang paggalang ko noong close to 20 million people na nagsabing karapat-dapat manalo si Digong.

“So, dapat tingnan yun. Dapat tingnan natin yun at pag-aralang mabuti.

“And, ako, I’d like to cooperate.

“I’d like to do whatever I can to make this government work because it is us.

“It is about us.”

May balak ba siyang magturo?

Sagot niya, “Yes, I am. When? I don’t know.

“I’m graduating July 2, with my doctoral degree in Social Development.

“But this is not about being called a doctor or having a Ph.D., but it’s an academic achievement.

“Tatanggapin ko, I studied for myself, but I also studied for nanay and tatay.

“Now, I’m happy.

“This is very rare, I’m graduating.

“I’m marching but I’m also the commencement speaker for the graduation.”
