Film director/producer Paul Soriano on first baby with Toni Gonzaga: "Of course, I'm very, very excited. It's our first child and I'm anxious and I can't wait to meet him. It's literally less than a month away so this is, I think, gonna be the best Christmas. This is gonna be the best way to end my year. I'm just super excited."

Pahayag ni Paul sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “Of course, I'm very, very excited.

“It's our first child and I'm anxious and I can't wait to meet him.

“It's literally less than a month away so this is, I think, gonna be the best Christmas.

“This is gonna be the best way to end my year. I'm just super excited.”

TONI'S PREGNANCY.

Saad ng direktor, “The preparations are… well, you can never really prepare because you don't know how exactly what's gonna happen.

“But of course, we're talking to our parents and they're giving us a lot of advice, and there's nothing like being in the moment, so we'll see what happens.”

“She's still doing Pinoy Big Brother, she's hosting, but her mga movies, tapings, she had to stop.

“I think Home Sweetie Home pa rin, she still tapes because she's in a studio.

“I think she's gonna be resting very soon.”

“I want her to take as long as she wants.

“I know her motherly instincts are gonna kick in so there's really no time table.

“I told her that, 'You rest, take care of our little boy and I will be the one to work and provide for the family.'”

Dagdag pa niya, "We'll see what happens since it's a first time for us, e.

“So we don't know if she's gonna work right away or she'll take a couple of months off.

“But I think, the rest of the year will definitely be her and the baby just home.”

PARENTING.

Aniya, “Well, I think I'm definitely gonna be as protective as I can.

“I wanna give my son a lot of freedom also to exercise his own creativity, his own voice.

“I'll do my best to guide him, to give him the tools that he needs to be successful as possible.”

Patuloy pa niya, “That is kind of my new objective in life: to give my wife and of course, my son the best possible life I can give them and to always make sure that God is the center of our family and just guide him and be there for him as much as I can.”

Sagot ng director/producer, “Maybe si Toni mas strict, kasi me, I just like to have fun, I like to be a kid.

“I'm actually excited kasi parang magkaka-playmate ako ngayon, e.

“I have a little boy now to play with.”
