Derek Ramsay slammed Filipino netizens who have been plaguing Miss Universe-Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina with negative feedback.
On his Instagram post today, January 25, the TV5 actor-host shared a photo of Maxine with a message to her detractors.
His brief caption read: “Stop the bashing! We should be proud of this beautiful and accomplished Filipina. Good luck @maxine_medina"
Maxine has been receiving negative comments on her social media accounts about her performance in handling Q&As and media interviews.
However, a lot of Filipinos have expressed their all-out support to the 26-year-old interior designer.
Co-hosted by Derek and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, the 65th Miss Universe Preliminary Show will be held at MOA Arena, tomorrow, January 26.
