Tommy Esguerra airs side on breakup with Miho Nishida: "We realized we're just different people"

ABS-CBN talent Tommy Esguerra broke his silence regarding his breakup with girlfriend Miho Nishida.

On April 27, ABS-CBN talent arm Star Magic confirmed the breakup of the couple, more popularly known as ToMiho, who have been together for over a year.

However, the statement did not reveal the reason behind their parting of ways.

Yesterday, April 28, Tommy took to Twitter to air his side regarding the issue.

According to him, they called it quits because their relationship wasn’t working out anymore.

He wrote, “As everyone may know by now, Miho and I have split ways.

"This was not an easy decision.

“I am sorry to those who wished we could of lasted forever.

"We wish we could of too.

“It's just that over the relationship we realized we're just different people.

"And it wasn't working out.”

In the end, Tommy wished himself and Miho well, even if they aren't together anymore.

The 21-year-old model-actor continued, “I hope we both find our own happiness and find what it is we want in life.

“During this time we're hoping everyone can be understanding of the situation.”

Tommy and Miho’s relationship blossomed during their stay inside the Pinoy Big Brother house in 2015.

The two even starred in different projects: the movie Foolish Love, which was shown in January 2017, and the teleserye Langit Lupa, which aired its final episode yesterday, April 28.

Fans speculated that Tommy and Miho were having problems when the latter deleted his pictures with his then-girlfriend on Instagram last April 26.

Meanwhile, Miho has yet to air her sentiments regarding the issue.
