Last August 24, Senyora Bobita Facebook page uploaded a video of a singer who fell offstage with the caption, "Ano nangyare Bff Morsette?" Netizens concluded that the lady in the said clip was Kapamilya singer Morissette Amon. On the same day, Morisette Amon took to Twitter to point out that she was not the woman in the video clip. She also expressed her sympathy and concern for the singer.

Morissette Amon was quick to defend herself against a viral video that used her name.

A certain Senyora Bobita Facebook page posted a clip of a young woman singing to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance when she suddenly fell off the stairs in front of the stage where she was performing.

The said page then captioned: "Ano nangyare Bff Morsette?"

Most netizens assumed that the lady was none other than the Birit Queen.

As of this writing, the short clip has garnered over two million views and over 2,000 shares on Facebook.

The Kapamilya singer took to Twitter to clear her name.

In a series of tweets, she wrote, "by the way, 1 very final thing... ung may kumakalat po na video na may nahulog sa hagdan, HINDI PO AKO UN."

She also took the chance to express her sympathy for the singer.

She wrote, "sana okay lang un siya."

"besides the fact na niloko po tayong lahat sa admin ng page ng un with that video, mas nag-alala po kami sa mismong taong nahulog doon sa hagdan.

"THAT IS NOT A LAUGHING MATTER."

Morisette is currently part of Michael Bolton's Asian talent search, "Bolt of Talent."
