India's Manushi Chhillar is Miss World 2017

Manushi Chhillar of India is crowned Miss World 2017. She succeeds Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle of Puerto Rico. The coronation night was held in Sanya, China.

India's bet Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017 during the coronation night held at Sanya, China this Saturday night, November 18.

The 20-year-old medical student succeeds Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle of Puerto Rico.

Manushi bested 118 candidates from all over the globe.

Andrea Meza of Mexico placed first runner-up while Stephanie Hill of England was crowned second runner-up.

All three competed in the Top 5 semi-finals, together with Aurore Kichenin of France and Magline Jeruto of Kenya.

Miss World 2017's Top 10 candidates were Indonesia, India, Russia, England, Korea, Jamaica, Mexico, South Africa, Kenya, and France.

Philippine bet Laura Lehmann reached as far as Top 40, but she failed to make it to the Top 15.
