Nadine Lustre says no to "nega, fake, and malarkey" in 2018.

As she welcomed the new year, Nadine Lustre turned her own words that made headlines in 2017 into what appears to be an optimistic statement for 2018.

Posted on her Instagram story yesterday, January 1, the 24-year-old Kapamilya actress wrote, “C’mon, guys. It’s 2018.”

Nadine seemed to be alluding to her July 2017 interview when she addressed talk that she and boyfriend James Reid were living together.

Her controversial quote, aired on TV Patrol, was: "I mean, I'm not being rude naman. If that was true, so what?

"It's not new anymore. Like, there are younger couples na mas young pa sa akin na [nagli-live in].

"It's normal na, e. C’mon, guys! It's 2017."

Despite the issues that hounded her last year, Nadine is determined not to let the “nega, fake, malarkey” get to her.

In a separate Instagram post, dated December 31, 2017, Nadine wrote, “Leaving all the nega, fake, malarkey in 2017. If you’re one of them, bye FELICIA.”
