Hashtags member McCoy de Leon was cautious in answering queries about his groupmates Bugoy Cariño and Jon Lucas getting suspended from ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime.
Both Bugoy and Jon landed in hot water following persistent speculations that they have gotten their respective girlfriends pregnant.
This supposedly resulted to It’s Showtime management’s decision to suspend Bugoy and Jon, who haven’t appeared in the noontime show for several weeks now.
Were his co-Hashtags members given a disciplinary measure because of the issue about getting someone pregnant?
As for his groupmates’ reported suspension, McCoy said that only the parties concerned know what really happened.
McCoy was interviewed by entertainment reporters during the presscon for the finale of ABS-CBN’s prime time series The Good Son, held at Tivoli Royale Clubhouse in Quezon City, yesterday, March 19.
It was another Hashtags member Jameson Blake who confirmed last March 13 that Bugoy and Jon are on “indefinite suspension” from It’s Showtime.
But Jameson did not say why the two were given a disciplinary measure.
In the case of Bugoy, his rumored girlfriend and volleyball player EJ Laure refuted speculations that she is pregnant via her Facebook post last March 11.
That same day, Bugoy alluded to the issue by miming Ex Battalion’s hit song “Hayaan Mo Sila.”
When asked to give a message for Bugoy, McCoy said that he and the rest of the Hashtags will wait for the former’s comeback.
