Anne Curtis reveals her advice to husband Erwan Heussaff who somehow got himself enmeshed in the controversial P80-M Buhay Carinderia project.

Anne Curtis defends her husband Erwan Heussaff whose name has been dragged in the anomalous multi-million-peso Buhay Carinderia project.

Erwan happened to be the content creator of Buhay Carinderia—a video series aiming to promote local eateries.

He was tapped for the job by Marylindbert International, the marketing agency that organized Buhay Carinderia.

The project raised question when it came out that it received PHP80-million from the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB).

The newly appointed Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat also questioned how Marylindbert International got the “sponsorship” from TPB without going through the bidding process.

Amid all that, Anne has made it clear that her husband has nothing to do with the controversy.

“I know where Erwan's heart is talaga when it comes to that: it's always about pushing the Filipino food.

“Yun lang naman ang gusto niya, ma-highlight ang pagkain na mga Pilipino, so I support him with that,” she explained to (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and select members of the press at her launch as endorser of Ajinomoto's Pork Savor and Chicken Savor last Friday, May 25,
