Aniya, “I saw that the GILAS brawl against AU was all over the news.
“I read some of the critical comments, and i felt compelled to make a stand...
“I don’t claim to be close to them, but @coachot [Chot Reyes, head coach of Gilas Pilipinas] has been kind to me.
“I’ve seen Coach Jong [Uichico, Gilas Pilipinas deputy coach] at the Meralco Chapel, but i’ve never met @tbvrome07 [Terrence Romeo].
“But we did watch what transpired over & over again, even in slow-mo...”
Katuwiran niya, “The team is suffering enough, and they have given so much effort for our country.
There was a time this quote gave me the strength to stay strong despite the negativity. “Do not judge. You do not know the storm I have asked her to walk through.” It was a more than 3 hour roadtrip to get to my Bataan location for later’s morning shoot- i saw that the GILAS brawl against ???????? was all over the news. I read some of the critical comments, and i felt compelled to make a stand... i don’t claim to be close to them, but @coachot has been kind to me, i’ve seen Coach Jong at the Meralco Chapel, but i’ve never met @tbvrome07...
Sabi ni @paulandrewtan, “The footages are clear. To tolerate such behavior would only bring more damage to the image of our country as a whole.
“They represent our country and yes, they make us proud.
“They are our role models. That is why we deserve better than what transpired out of their actions.
“The smart thing to do is accept that we did wrong and should apologize for the unruly behaviour our players exhibited.
“This isn't the time to raise our flag and shout for unity or #PinoyPride.
“To many we are wrong. We should learn how to own up to our mistakes.”
Ani Kris, “Very clear yung apology ni Coach Jong.”
Sa pamamagitan ng Twitter, sinabi ng deputy coach ng Gilas Pilipinas, “Tonight, my emotions got the better of me like a father who cares about his sons.
“That does not excuse my actions and I apologize to everyone as in hindsight I should have not gotten involved.
“This is a painful but maybe necessary lesson for me.”

ON OTHER ISSUES.
Sabi ni @venezia1011, “While I applaud you for making a this stand, just curious why the silence when Duterte insulted abd made a mockery of God—the very same God that you believe in and have very strong faith on. It was all over the news, too. You courage should have mattered more!”
Sagot naman ni Kris, “You don't have to directly confront in order to make a stand—but you can speak of your FAITH & how much being God's loing follower has shaped your life...
“Sometimes your message is clearer when you choose speaking of the good that God has done in your life rather than pointing out the shortcomings of others...”
Isa pang user ang nagpaliwanag kung bakit hindi nagsalita si Kris, “Bcoz she never interferes with politics and she never did that for what being criticized again by duterte warriors? @krisaquino never compromise her faith with anybody its one mans opinion about GOD, what she emphatize now is about compassion of being a true Filipino.”
Dagdag na paliwanag naman ni Kris, “Mahirap mangialam sa religious or non religious beliefs of others. Because for me—whatever your faith is—it is the acceptance of Jesus as your Savior & Redeemer. A very personal relationship between you & your Maker—and how you live your life & share His blessings will be the proof of your faith.”
