Kylie Padilla, 25, has taken to Instagram her heartfelt love letter to Aljur Abrenica, 28, whom she said has showered her with unconditional love and support despite her flaws.
Kylie and Aljur have been living together since the last quarter of 2016 and they now have a one-year-old son, Alas.
Talking about how Aljur puts up with her quirks, Kylie writes, “Let’s get right to the chase, I’m hard headed, impulsive and over protective.
"Sometimes selfish and impatient but thank you from the bottom of my heart and all dark corners of my soul for cherishing every inch of what makes me, me.
"If I were a rose, your hands would be bleeding but thank you for being the better man and always choosing to take care of your son and I.”
Kylie goes on to say that she and Aljur bring out the best in each other.
“I admire your strength and patience and wisdom so so much. More than I could ever express. Thank you for letting me bloom and not picking my petals.
“Thank you, just thank you for being the human being that you are and putting us first.
“You are the sun, and I am the moon. We couldn’t be without each other. And I would not be the same person without you.”
Raising a child together hasn’t been easy, but Kylie adds, “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Aljur, for his part, also declares his love for Kylie via Instagram.
In his own post, Aljur thanks the "special woman in my life" for filling their home with "love and happiness."
Aljur also writes, "I saw how you have blossomed since you became a mother. That helped me want to strive to become the perfect man for you.
"Thank you for the challenges that made me a better person. I am forever grateful to you mahal and most of all thank you for giving me a beautiful child. #AlasNumeroUno"
KYLIE AND ALJUR'S LOVE STORY
Kylie and Aljur have been through a lot since they were in an on-and-off relationship from 2011 to 2014.
The two called it quits in 2014 following third-party rumors on Aljur's part.
Kylie later admitted that it was Aljur who initiated their breakup, but did not say the reason for it.
After two years, in September 2016, the couple finally got back together.
Kylie's dad Robin Padilla initially expressed his disapproval of the couple's relationship especially when she got pregnant with Aljur's child out of wedlock.
It was in January 2017 when PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) broke the news that Kylie is pregnant, which the couple later confirmed along with the news that they are engaged.
But with the help of Kylie's loved ones, Aljur eventually had the chance to reconcile with Robin when they met at a family dinner in February 2018.
