Andrea Brillantes thanked the group of five good samaritans who rescued her and her mother with a boat amid chest-deep flood in Quezon City.

Andrea Brillantes was among the few celebrities who got stranded due to the floods caused by the non-stop monsoon rains over the weekend.

In her Instagram Story posted at 12:30 p.m. yesterday, Saturday, August 11, Andrea showed a shot of the flooded street they were passing through, taken from inside their vehicle.

She was accompanied by her mom.

After five hours, around 5:30 p.m., Andrea recounted how she and her mom "survived" the chest-deep waters in Talayan Village, Quezon City after a group of men volunteered to rescue them with a boat.

She also showed pictures of the five good samaritans who brought them to safety.

Andrea's caption read, "We survived! Thank you sa mga kuya na tumulong samin ni mama kahit abot na sa dibdib niyo yung tubig!

"Wohoo di ko makakalimutan yung experience na to. Stay safe everyone!!! Thank you."

It was earlier reported how Glaiza de Castro, Alexa Ilacad, and Gil Cuerva experienced similar ordeals due to floods all over the metropolis.
