Film director Christopher Ad. Castillo has passed away.
The eldest son of the late director Celso Ad. Castillo died due to cardiac arrest and complications of diabetes.
Christopher was 54 years old.
His uncle, John Ad. Castillo, announced the sad news on his Facebook account early this Sunday, August 19:
"My nephew Christopher Ad Castillo just passed away at 11:26 pm August 18, 2018 in St. Luke’s Medical Center due to cardiac arrest.
"He is 54 years old.
"May he receive God’s graces.
"To all of his family and friends please pray for the repose of his soul."
Christopher was best known for the films The Diplomat Hotel and In Darkness We Live.
The Diplomat Hotel was a horror-mystery film, which starred Gretchen Barretto.
It became one of the finalists at the 2013 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
Meanwhile, In the Darkness We Live was 2014 film which starred Mon Confiado, Alex Medina, and Jerald Napoles.
