Lani Misalucha tells Morissette Amon about her talent in singing: "Never forget that was given to you. God gave you that. All of our talents, all of our skills, were given to us from heaven, it was given to us. Anytime it can go away."

“If you think that this is something that you want to do for the next several years, then do it because this is what you love.”

“Yun na talaga ang inuna ko, which is to nurture my family.

“Kasi may pamilya na ako when I got into show business, so yun ang priority ko.”

Hindi naman daw ito pinanghihinayangan ni Lani.

Aniya, “Ang maganda dun, I am enjoying both worlds—my personal life, which is my family life; and my career.

It's really good that I was able to balance both worlds.”

LANI'S ADVICE

Sabi ng The Clash judge, “Yung sa iyo, I don't think you're gonna... hindi mo siguro priority ang magkaroon ng relationship at this time, and I don't think anytime you're gonna get married dahil wala naman.

"So go ahead and i-mould mo pa ang iyong craft, ang iyong talent.

“I'm telling you, you already are a very good artist and you're gonna go a long way.”

“Never, never forget that... bakit nagka-crack ako?” tanong ni Lani sa sarili.

“Never forget that was given to you. God gave you that.

“All of our talents, all of our skills, were given to us from heaven, it was given to us.

“Anytime it can go away. It can be taken away from you in a snap.

"So you just got to be grateful and always acknowledge the one who gave you that.

“We have to be grateful all the time.

"Especially you, especially now that you're travelling, you always have to ask for guidance and protection that you always have to be safe in everything that you do.”

“Alam mo yun, ganun talaga, minsan unti-unti ka nang lumalakad away from the one that you have to give priority to.

Sabi ni Morissette, “Yung nakikita po natin ngayon, just how she's able to manage her life and nakikita pa rin po natin yung passion niya, yung love niya for family, and how God-fearing she is.

“She shows us right now how she values her relationship with God. If that's her priority, everything else will follow.

“Kaya grateful ako to be working with such an inspiring woman, na hindi lang napakagaling sa craft niya pero napakagaling din ibahagi yung life niya sa ibang tao, lalung-lalo na ang relationship niya with God.

“Kaya being a 'millennial,' I think that's something we can never forget, na kahit ang daming success na dumarating sa aming career, dapat hindi pa rin namin makalimutan yung mga taong nandiyan para sa amin from the very start, and of course, yung taong nagbigay sa amin ng boses na ito."
