Jasmine Curtis-Smith questions professionalism of a telecommunication's customer service representative when her full name was shouted across the room during their phone call. How is this allowed?"

Jasmine Curtis-Smith took to her Twitter account earlier today, September 23, to raise a concern over her recent experience with a telecommunication company's customer service representative.

In a series of tweets, the GMA-7 actress claimed that the customer service representative in question acted "unprofessional" during their phone call.

She tweeted, "So I called @PLDT_Cares for assistance this morning. After 15 mins of waiting for someone to answer my question, someone picks up says the formulated greeting, then just as I'm about to reply I hear in the background 'JASMINE CURTIS IN THE HOUSE.'

"Pinagsisigawan pala ang customer name sa mga ka office pag private customer service call?

"Hindi ba that's disclosing the private and paying customer na to your other employees?"

Jasmine tried to get the representative's name, but the person refused to do so and said it was a matter of privacy as a staff.

The Kapuso actress then argued, "Pero ako, as a PAYING customer of @pldt @PLDTHome (hindi naman ako sponsored or nagpapa VIP customer care if ther is even such a thing), pwede nila pag usapan between employees?

"Complete name and hindi lang sa katabi, isisigaw pa para marinig ng ibang tumatanggap ng customer care/troubleshooting calls.

"How is this allowed?"

Though Jasmine promised herself "to lay off Twitter for rants and personal emo tweets kasi I want to keep those private and personal matters to myself," she felt that the level of unprofessionalism should be called out.

"[I] hope people will just be aware of how they act and work in those departments. Specially in large corps like that," Jasmine added, replying to one of her followers.

COMPANY'S RESPONSE

It is unclear whether the telecommunication company has reached out to Jasmine in private, but one of the actress' followers tagged an employee from the said company.

The employee gives Jasmine reassurance that he "will do [his] best to settle this internally with the people involved..."
